Very excited to be part of the Mamagaze book published with TeNeues in Spring this year alongside so many talented and amazing artists and Moms.
I had the pleasure to teach and lead a photography workshop for young adults and creatives as a part of the festival SPRICHCODE in Austria.
This past semester I worked with the bachelor students @fat.linz @kunstunilinz lecturing and teaching a fashion photography workshop online and in person let me explore not only new ways of seeing my own way of photography - first and foremost it allowed me to interact and work with amazing talent and involving them in the process of putting together and pulling off a 2 day shoot, playing around changing schedules and weather forecasts and discussing which images will finally “make the cut” and why. The photographic series by New York-based Austrian artist, HELGA TRAXLER, entitled “Passion Pays the Bill” picks up fragments of a variety of stories and careers in its depiction of eleven musicians in unique environments, chosen by the artists themselves. The series premiered at a solo exhibition in Linz at the Brucknerhaus in autumn 2022. But the show will go on… Many thanks to Arianna Fleur and Itta Francesca Ivellio-Vellin.
